Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy products from the online shop at signgroup.uk. They do not apply to signs we design, make and install for you, which are quoted and agreed separately.

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the prices shown on the product page when you order.

Prices are shown including VAT at 20%, with the price before VAT underneath. At checkout your order is listed before VAT, and VAT at 20% is added on the goods and on delivery.

Payment is taken by Stripe on its secure hosted checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or store them. We accept the payment methods Stripe shows at checkout.

If we have made an obvious pricing mistake we will tell you before we dispatch, and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We then email you a receipt with your order reference.

If a product turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we will tell you and refund you in full.

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only, by next day UK delivery.

We normally dispatch orders within 1 working day of payment (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). If an item will take longer, we will email you. If we have not delivered within 30 days, you can cancel for a full refund.

Delivery is charged once per order, not per item, and is shown at checkout before you pay. Before VAT: £9.50 for orders with light box LEDs; £20.45 for orders with LCD backpacks; £29.95 for an order with both.

LED strips add nothing to the delivery charge when ordered with light box LEDs or LCD backpacks. An order of only LED strips costs £9.50 to deliver.

Delivery is free on orders of £1,000 or more before VAT.

If we cannot deliver to you, we will tell you and refund you in full.

If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day after you (or someone you name) receive the goods. If your order arrives in several deliveries, they start the day after the last item arrives.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end: email info@signgroup.uk or call 0203 620 1605 with your order reference. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.

Once you have told us you are cancelling, send the goods back, or hand them to us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that. We will tell you where to send them.

You pay the cost of returning the goods, unless they are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described (see below). The goods are your responsibility until they reach us, so we recommend a tracked service.

Please return goods unused and in their original packaging, with any labels and accessories. You may handle them as you would in a shop to check them, but if they have been handled more than that (for example cut to length, wired, fitted or used), we may reduce your refund by the loss in their value.

We refund the price of the goods and the delivery charge you paid, including VAT, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of you showing us you have sent them, whichever is sooner. If you cancel before the goods are dispatched, we refund within 14 days of your telling us.

Refunds go to the payment method you used.

• Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.
• Goods that have been installed or connected, where they cannot be returned in their original condition.

If you are buying for your business, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply. We will still consider returning unused standard items within 14 days of delivery, in their original condition and packaging: contact us first with your order reference and reason. If we accept the return, we will tell you how to send it back, and you pay the cost of return unless the goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described.

Your legal rights are not affected by these terms. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a price reduction or refund.

Please tell us as soon as you can, ideally within 7 days of delivery: email info@signgroup.uk with your order reference and photos of the problem. We will offer a repair, a replacement or a refund. If we need the item back to examine it, we pay for the return and tell you how to send it.

Where a manufacturer's warranty is stated on a product page (for example, a 3-year warranty on LED modules), it is in addition to these rights.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
