These terms apply when you buy products from the online shop at signgroup.uk. They do not apply to signs we design, make and install for you, which are quoted and agreed separately.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the prices shown on the product page when you order.

Payment is taken by Stripe on its secure hosted checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or store them. We accept the payment methods Stripe shows at checkout.

If we have made an obvious pricing mistake we will tell you before we dispatch, and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Your order

Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed. We then email you a receipt with your order reference.

If a product turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Delivery and collection

Until this is confirmed, we contact you after you order to arrange delivery or collection. If we cannot deliver to you, we will refund you in full.

Your right to cancel (14 days)

If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day after you (or someone you name) receive the goods. If your order arrives in several deliveries, they start the day after the last item arrives.

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email to info@signgroup.uk or by phone on 0203 620 1605. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.

You must send the goods back, or hand them to us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. [PLACEHOLDER — client to confirm who pays the cost of return; by law the customer pays unless we say otherwise.]

We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge you paid, within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof that you sent them), using the same payment method. We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled more than was needed to check them, for example cut to length, wired, fitted or used.

When the right to cancel does not apply

Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, such as LED strips cut to a length you asked for.
Goods that have been installed or connected, where they cannot be returned in their original condition.

Returns of unwanted goods outside the 14 days

Faulty goods

Your legal rights are not affected by these terms. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a price reduction or refund.

Where a manufacturer's warranty is stated on a product page (for example, a 3-year warranty on LED modules), it is in addition to these rights.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
