Located in the heart of East London, right on the doorstep of the buzzing Aldgate East underground station, the Crawford Building is a sleek, modern development with a strong architectural presence. When we were approached to design and install new signage for the building, the brief was clear: create something elegant, high-end, and unmistakably eye-catching — day or night.

Premium 30mm Acrylic Lettering with Matt Black Backdrop

The centrepiece of this signage project is a stunning set of 30mm thick acrylic letters, precision-cut to deliver a clean, crisp edge and a premium aesthetic. The letters were custom-fabricated to match the building’s brand identity, offering a sleek and modern typographic style that fits perfectly with the contemporary design of the property.

To ensure maximum contrast and sophistication, we mounted the acrylic lettering onto a matt black background panel. This backdrop serves to visually anchor the sign, allowing the glossy depth of the acrylic to stand out with maximum impact. The result? Samsung LED Illumination for Maximum Visibility

Of course, great signage isn’t just about daytime visibility. That’s why we integrated high-performance Samsung LED modules into the design, carefully installed behind each individual letter to create a stunning illumination effect.

The LEDs cast a soft, even glow from the letters, giving the entire sign a sophisticated look that’s both subtle and powerful.
